I like to think that I live my life, always with some wanderlust and a little adventure in mind.
Even though it's just started really feeling like Summer in the city, I can already feel myself losing focus midday because I can't resist the urge to take my workload outside. To keep it casual, send Emails from the park, a rooftop, beside any pool, hop on conference calls from my stoop or a bench somewhere on the sunny side of the block.
And, when it's time to really get down with the get down and have some
time to myself,
I've even taken to turning my fire escape into a - concrete jungle - oasis. It's my substitute for living in Brooklyn and having no backyard. The stoop, rooftop I sneak onto, and fire escape become my Summer sanctuaries, so to speak. Mexican blanket, iced coffee, A Love Supreme blasting from inside my apartment. I sit, I write, I think. It's amazing how you can find so many quiet moments in a city that is always awake. To staycate with your hunny, drink beers outside and gossip with the girls about work, life, love life, repeat. To be free, fearless, braless, and all love. A Summer well spent, can mean so many things. Finding small adventure throughout the city, banking the sunny memories, remembering that life is already happening, waiting for you to just say,
Keep up with my summer style and (mis)adventures! #AFinfluencer
