Lately, it's been all about sharing time with loved ones, remembering that the sky is always blue, and laughing loudly until my cheeks hurt. I realize the holiday effect is in full force - I'm practically fa-la-la'ing, through Brooklyn these days - but I swear the season definitely has me feeling some type of way. Suddenly, a new season feels a lot more like a whole new you. I guess, before another year unravels, you reel it all in and take hold of what's closest and most important to you. And, in keeping with the tradition of living outside of fear
I'm taking a few new leaps of faith. Huddle with whomever holds you the closest. Always spike your hot cider. Don't let go of your (holiday) spirit, and always keep a Christmas nighty, in your back pocket. After all, it's really hard for a girl on-the-go to resist a little portable mistletoe. Right?
Embrace the holiday cheer, muchacha's. And remember, spread love, it's the Brooklyn way. Hey!
